Bluewheel Hoverboards: Safety Instructions and Charging Process

We would like to point out that the battery in your hoverboard is a wear part, and its service life can be extended through proper handling. To ensure the safety and performance of your device, please follow the safety instructions carefully. Failure to follow these instructions may result in deep discharge of the battery, which can impair its functionality.

If the battery needs to be replaced, please note that repair costs of €59,00 to €100,00 may apply. The exact costs will be determined after our qualified technicians have inspected your hoverboard.

Battery Care Safety Instructions

Conditions of use:

  • Protect your hoverboard from strong sunlight, heat and fire to avoid the risk of explosion.

Temperature ranges:

  • Riding is permitted at temperatures from –10°C to +45°C. Please note that the battery’s range and performance may decrease significantly in cold weather.

Storage and charging:

  • Make sure the temperature is between +10°C and +45°C. You can find more details in the user manual under "Technical data of the device".

Charge level:

  • It is important to fully charge the battery at least once every 30 days when not in use, as it will otherwise discharge on its own. A fully discharged battery may be damaged.

Charging

There are a few important points to bear in mind when charging your battery to make sure everything works properly.
Here are some tips:

  • Please use only the charger supplied with your hoverboard
  • After riding, it is best to let your hoverboard cool down for an hour before charging it.
  • Make sure the area where you charge your hoverboard is dry and well ventilated.
  • It is very important to place the charger and hoverboard on a fire-resistant surface, such as a tiled floor. There should be no easily flammable items nearby.
  • Do not leave the charger unattended while charging, and do not charge your hoverboard overnight.
  • If you notice any unusual smells or the battery heats up, stop charging immediately.
