Right of Withdrawal and Returns at Sportstech: Explained Simply and Clearly
1. Right of withdrawal:
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The period begins as soon as the consumer or a designated third party who is not the carrier takes possession of the last item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, Sportstech Brands Holding GmbH must be informed of the decision to withdraw by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. by letter or email). Note: In-store purchases at our brand stores are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
2. Consequences of withdrawal:
Following withdrawal, all payments, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from choosing a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered), must be refunded within 30 days. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase. The refund may be withheld until the goods have been received back or proof of return has been provided.
3. Returning the goods:
The goods must be returned or handed over no later than 30 days after notice of withdrawal. If the goods are not returned within this period, the withdrawal may be rejected. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if it results from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. 4. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers outside the EU or if the residential and delivery addresses are outside the EU at the time the contract is concluded.
5. Linked/financed transactions:
If a contract financed by a loan is cancelled, the consumer is no longer bound by the loan agreement if both contracts form an economic unit.
6. General information:
Damage to and soiling of the goods should be avoided. The goods should be returned in their original packaging with all accessories. In the event of withdrawal or a return, the sender must bear the return shipping costs themselves.
