Repairs & troubleshooting

PT500 wobbles or feels unstable during training

Description:
The dip bars wobble or feel unstable during training.

Solution:
1. Check that all screws, nuts, and bolts are tightened securely
2. Check that the equipment is on a level, stable surface
3. Make sure the floor is not slippery. If necessary, use a floor protection mat
4. Check that all connection points have been assembled correctly

Individual tubes are difficult to adjust or are stuck

Description:
The tubes for length or height adjustment are difficult to move or get stuck.

Solution:
1. Check that the tubes are clean and free of dirt
2. Clean the connection points with a dry cloth
3. If necessary, apply a little silicone oil to the connection points
4. Check that the screws and nuts are not overtightened
5. Try gently moving the tubes back and forth to loosen them

Handles are slippery or worn

Description:
The foam handles are slippery, worn, or partially damaged.

Solution:
1. Clean the handles thoroughly with water and mild soap, then dry them well
2. For minor signs of wear, wipe the handles with a damp cloth
3. You can wear weightlifting gloves during training for a better grip
4. If the damage is more extensive, the handles can be replaced. Contact our customer service team for replacement handles

Unusual noises or grinding sounds during use

Description:
The equipment makes grinding, cracking, or squeaking noises during training.

Solution:
1. Check all screw connections and tighten them securely
2. Check whether two tubes are rubbing against each other. If necessary, apply a little silicone oil
3. Check the foot supports and safety locks for wear
4. Check for loose parts and secure them
5. If the noises persist, individual components may be worn. Contact our customer service team

PT500 maintenance & cleaning

Regular maintenance:
• Check and tighten all screws, nuts, and bolts before each use
• Regularly check for damage and wear
• Check the stability of the equipment before each workout
• Check the tubes for scratches or deformation

Cleaning:
• Wipe the handles with a soft, damp cloth
• Clean the steel tubes with a dry cloth
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals
• If necessary, apply a little silicone oil to the connection points

Storage:
• Use the equipment on a level, non-slip surface
• Keep it at least 50 cm away from other objects
• Store the equipment in a dry place
• Use a floor protection mat to protect the floor
• When collapsed, the equipment takes up little space (72 x 46 x 80 cm)
