FAQ

What is a Smith Machine and how does it differ from other strength training stations?

A Smith Machine is a multifunctional fitness machine specifically designed for guided strength training exercises. Compared to classic strength training stations, it features a guided barbell supported by safety mechanisms such as stops and guide rails. This allows you to train safely with heavy weights, even without a training partner. Classic strength training stations usually combine cable pulleys and built-in weight stacks, while the Smith Machine uses weight plates to provide resistance.

What is the SXM150 and what is it used for?

The SXM150 Smith Machine enables a full-body workout with over 100 exercise variations. These include classic exercises such as squats, bench presses and rows, as well as cable and isolation exercises. It is equally suitable for beginners and advanced users, as it combines guided movements with free training.

What are the benefits of training with the SXM150?

Safety: The guided barbell with safety stops and adjustable safety arms minimize the risk of injury.
Versatility: With over 100 exercise variations for full-body and isolation exercises, workouts can be tailored to your needs.
Stability & durability: The heavy-duty steel frame provides high load capacity and a long service life.
Combination of guided and free training: Enables both guided movements for greater control and free-weight training for maximum muscle activation.
Space-saving design: Ideal for home gyms, as it combines several training machines in one system.

What is the difference between the SXM150 and the SXM200?

The main difference between the SXM150 and the SXM200 lies in the type of weight resistance and the price:
The SXM150 uses weight plates that can be loaded as needed, making it versatile and compact.
The SXM200 also features built-in weight stacks that are moved using cable pulleys. This makes training more convenient, but the machine is considerably more expensive.
Both models have weight plate storage racks, so weight plates can be stored safely.

What fitness levels is the SXM150 suitable for?

It is suitable for both beginners and advanced users, as the guided movement allows for safe training and the weight resistance can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

Can the SXM150 also be used for full-body training?

Yes, the SXM150 allows you to exercise all major muscle groups, including the legs, chest, back and shoulders.

What safety features does the SXM150 have?

The machine features safety components such as J-hooks or safety stops on the guided barbell, which can lock the weight at any height to ensure safe training, even without a training partner. This allows you to push your limits with heavier weights without worry.

How much space does the SXM150 require?

The Smith Machine measures 199,5 x 163 x 222 cm (LxWxH) and should be set up on a firm, level surface. We recommend leaving at least 2 m of clearance behind the machine and 1 m on each side to ensure safe and comfortable training.
