Troubleshooting & quick fixes
LED lighting is not working.
To activate the desired function, simply press and hold the lower button on your remote control until the LEDs light up.
Remote control is not working
Please note that the remote control does not include a battery (CR2032).
Running belt is crooked, not centered
1. Turn on the treadmill
Set the sWalk treadmill to a low speed (approx. 1–2 km/h).
2. Observe the direction of the belt
Check whether the running belt is moving to the left or right.
3. Locate the adjustment screws
The adjustment screws for the rear roller are located on the left and right at the back of the treadmill (marked with red arrows in the image).
4. Make the adjustment
- If the running belt moves to the left → tighten the left screw clockwise by ¼ turn
- If the running belt moves to the right → tighten the right screw clockwise by ¼ turn
5. Intermediate test
Let the treadmill run for 20–30 seconds and check whether the running belt moves back to the center.
6. Fine adjustment
Repeat the process if necessary until the running belt is centered.
Result / desired condition
The running belt is correctly adjusted when:
- there is equal clearance from the frame on the left and right
- the running belt runs smoothly
- there is no rubbing against the frame
Important notes
- Always make small adjustments (¼ turn)
- Do not tighten both screws significantly at the same time
- Excessive tension can damage the motor, bearings, and running belt

Running belt slips while walking
Follow these instructions to tension your treadmill correctly:
1. Choose the right tool - Depending on the model, you will need either a Phillips screwdriver or a hex key. One of these tools is usually included with the treadmill.
2. Adjust the tension - If the treadmill belt slips, increase the tension by turning the right and left adjustment screws clockwise by a quarter turn. If the belt is jammed, reduce the tension by turning both screws counterclockwise by a quarter turn.
3. Check the adjustment, then set a speed of 1-2 km/h and walk on the treadmill. If the belt slips (the motor spins freely), increase the tension. If the belt and motor are jammed, reduce the tension. Also make sure that the belt runs in the center. If it does not, center it correctly.
4. If the running belt is not centered, increase the tension on the side toward which it is drifting. (If it moves right = tighten the right side slightly or loosen the left side slightly; if it moves left = tighten the left side slightly or loosen the right side slightly.) Tighten by no more than a quarter turn at a time, then check again that the belt runs in the center.

Step 3: Carefully open the cover. Please note that the display is connected to the control unit, so take care not to cause any damage.
Maintenance/cleaning.
Cleaning: After each use, wipe sweat off the device with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture or water ever gets onto the computer or other electrical or electronic components. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Maintenance: Before and after each workout, check that the device is in proper condition. Also check that all fasteners and protective covers are in place and secure. Tighten screws and nuts if necessary.
Lubrication: For the device to function properly and last a long time, the running belt must be adequately lubricated with silicone oil. Thin tubes on the underside of the device serve as the lubrication system.
Lubrication and inspection intervals: Refill with silicone oil after the first 25 operating hours (or every 2-3 months). Check the lubrication regularly. Refill with silicone oil after no more than 50 operating hours (or every 5-8 months).
Checking the lubrication: Make sure the device is unplugged. Lift the running belt on one side and run your finger over the top of the running deck underneath the belt. If the running deck feels slightly oily, the lubrication is sufficient. However, if the running deck feels dry, you need to add silicone oil. If you have any further questions about maintenance, I will be happy to help.
The treadmill turns off by itself.
The sWalk turns off after approx. 20–24 seconds. This is not a fault, but the sWalk's automatic shutoff feature. It will happen after every start as long as nobody is walking on the treadmill.

My treadmill won't turn on – what should I do?
You may often be able to fix the problem yourself without affecting your warranty.
Follow these simple steps to check for possible causes and resolve the problem:
- Turn off the treadmill and disconnect it from the power supply. This is important to ensure there is no electrical connection while you inspect the device.
- Carefully open the motor cover. It is usually located at the bottom of the treadmill and may be secured with screws or snap fasteners, depending on the model.
- Check that all cable connections are secure, especially those between the motor and the control unit. Loose or damaged cable connections can sometimes prevent the treadmill from starting.
- If necessary, reconnect any loose connections securely. Make sure the connections are firmly in place to ensure the treadmill works properly.
- Close the motor cover and reconnect the treadmill to the power supply. Once you have completed the inspection, close the cover and test the treadmill by plugging it back in.
If your treadmill still does not work after following these steps, I recommend contacting our customer support team for further assistance. Our team will be happy to help you resolve the problem and make sure you can resume your workout as soon as possible.
